Fair Play Policy

Effective Date: June 9, 2026 Last Updated: June 9, 2026

1. Introduction

At Wagerfy, fair competition is the foundation of everything we do. This Fair Play Policy sets out the standards of conduct we expect from all users when participating in real-money 1v1 matches on the Platform.

Violations of this Policy may result in match result reversal, suspension, permanent account termination, and forfeiture of wallet balance. All enforcement decisions are made at Wagerfy's sole discretion.

By using the Platform, you agree to abide by this Policy in full.

2. General Prohibited Conduct

The following are prohibited across all games and match types on Wagerfy:

2.1 Cheating and Unauthorised Tools

  • Using unauthorised third-party software or hardware, including but not limited to aimbots, macros, scripts, or input automation tools

  • Exploiting in-game glitches, bugs, or unintended mechanics to gain an advantage

  • Using modded or jailbroken consoles or devices

2.2 Account Integrity

  • Creating or using smurf accounts (secondary accounts used to misrepresent your skill level)

  • Deliberately underperforming in matches to manipulate your skill rating or opponent selection

  • Sharing your account with, or allowing any other person to play on your behalf

  • Creating multiple accounts to claim promotional credit or any other one-time offer more than once

  • Hacking or attempting to gain unauthorised access to another user's account

2.3 Match Fixing and Collusion

  • Fixing or pre-determining the outcome of a match

  • Colluding with your opponent to manipulate results in either player's favour

  • Sharing in-game strategy, play-calling, or tactical information with your opponent during a match

  • Submitting a match result you know to be false

2.4 General Conduct

  • Disconnecting intentionally to avoid a loss

  • Refusing to complete a match once it has started without legitimate cause

  • Engaging in harassment, abuse, or unsportsmanlike behaviour toward other users

3. Match Format and Lobbies

All matches on Wagerfy are private, invite-based 1v1 contests between the two players who agreed to the match. The following apply to every game:

  • Invite-based lobbies only. Matches must be played in a private lobby that the two agreed players join directly (via invite, lobby name, or in-game friend/account ID). Public matchmaking is not permitted, because it cannot guarantee that the two agreed players face each other.

  • Crossplay. Where a game supports crossplay, both players must keep the agreed crossplay setting enabled so they can be matched. Where a game does not support crossplay, both players must be on a platform that can play together.

  • Account identifiers. Each player must be reachable on the account or ID agreed for the match (e.g. EA ID, Activision ID, Epic ID, or the game's friend code). Providing an incorrect or unreachable ID may result in a no-show ruling against you.

  • Agreed settings are binding. All matches must be played according to the settings agreed at match creation. Any deviation from the required settings is grounds for a dispute and may result in a result reversal.

4. Game-Specific Rules

In addition to the general rules above, each game has its own required settings and prohibited conduct.

EA Sports FC

Format

  • Played in Online Friendlies (Classic) or FUT 1v1 via direct invite. Public matchmaking is not permitted.

Match Settings

  • Game speed must be set to Normal

  • Half length must be set to 4 minutes

  • For FUT matches, only your active FUT squad may be used, with no mid-match changes

  • A match must reach at least 50% completion for any result to be valid

Result

  • The player with the most goals at full time wins. If the match ends in a draw, a rematch is played until a winner is determined.

Prohibited

  • Using exploitative tactics or known broken mechanics (e.g. abusing unpatched AI/defensive glitches)

  • Pausing excessively or repeatedly to disrupt your opponent

NBA 2K

Format

  • Played in a private Play Now Online 1v1 setup, or MyCOURT 1v1, via direct invite. Public matchmaking is not permitted.

Match Settings

  • Only current NBA teams may be used

  • Quarter length must be set to 5 minutes

  • Difficulty must be set to Hall of Fame, or the highest available

  • No AFK farming or idle play at any point during the match

  • A match must reach at least 50% completion for any result to be valid

Result

  • The player with the highest score at the final buzzer wins.

Prohibited

  • Switching game modes or lobbies after a match has been agreed

  • Exploiting known cheese tactics or unpatched animations

Rocket League

Format

  • Played in 1v1 Private Match format, joined via direct invite or lobby name/password.

Match Settings

  • Standard competitive settings: 5 minutes, standard arena, all mutators default, bots disabled

  • Overtime is played until a winner is decided

  • Both players must confirm the correct lobby settings before the match begins

Result

  • The player with the most goals at full time wins. If tied, overtime is played until someone scores.

Prohibited

  • Using custom maps, plugins, or third-party mods (BakkesMod configurations that affect gameplay are prohibited; cosmetic-only configurations are permitted)

  • Intentional demolition-only play with no attempt to score (unsportsmanlike conduct)

  • Disconnecting and reconnecting repeatedly to delay or disrupt the match

EA Sports UFC 5

Format

  • Played as a Custom Fight (Fight Now Online) via direct invite. UFC 5 does not support crossplay, so both players must be on the same console family (PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S).

Match Settings

  • Both players must select the same weight class

  • CAF (Create-A-Fighter) or modified fighters are not allowed

  • Default round settings must be used

Result

  • The fight is won by KO/TKO, submission, or decision. A mid-fight disconnect is a forfeit.

Prohibited

  • Using modified or non-standard fighters

  • Exploiting in-game glitches

Call of Duty: Warzone

Format

  • Played as a Private Match in 1v1 format, joined via direct invite using Activision ID. Public matchmaking is not permitted.

Match Settings

  • Default settings must be used

  • No third-party software or modified game files

Result

  • The player with the highest score/kills at the end of the agreed round wins. A disconnect without return is a forfeit.

Prohibited

  • Using third-party software, modified files, or exploiting glitches

5. Match Results and Disputes

After a match, both players submit the result through the Platform within the time shown on the match. If both submissions agree, the match settles automatically and the pot is paid to the winner, less the platform fee.

If the submissions conflict, or one player does not submit in time, the match enters a dispute. Both players will be asked to provide their account of the result and any supporting evidence within the time stated. If one player provides evidence and the other does not respond within that window, the dispute may be resolved in favour of the responding player.

Submitting a result you know to be false is a serious violation and may result in result reversal, forfeiture of the stake, and a ban.

6. No-Shows and Abandonment

Once a match has been accepted, both players must join the agreed lobby within the time window shown on the match. A player who fails to join, leaves before the match reaches the minimum completion threshold, or abandons the match without legitimate cause forfeits the match, and the present player is awarded the result. Repeated no-shows may result in suspension.

7. Evidence Requirements

For every match, you should be able to provide:

  • A screenshot of the agreed lobby and settings before the match begins

  • A screenshot or clip of the final result screen, with both players' names visible

Keep this evidence until the match has settled. The lobby screenshot serves as proof of the agreed settings, and the result screenshot as proof of the outcome, in the event of a dispute. Failure to provide requested evidence during a dispute investigation may result in a ruling against you.

8. Reporting a Violation

If you believe your opponent has violated this Policy:

  1. Do not leave the match — complete it where possible

  2. Submit a report via the Platform within 24 hours of the match result being recorded

  3. Include any available evidence (screenshots, screen recordings, clips)

Reports submitted after 24 hours may not be investigated. Wagerfy will review all reports and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Enforcement

Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, Wagerfy may take the following actions:

Severity

Action

Minor / First offence

Warning issued

Moderate violation

Temporary account suspension (3–14 days)

Serious violation

Permanent account termination + wallet balance forfeiture

Fraud or match fixing

Permanent ban + referral to relevant authorities where applicable

Submitting false results and abusing promotional credit are treated as serious violations. Wagerfy reserves the right to skip directly to permanent termination for serious violations at its sole discretion. All enforcement decisions are final, subject to the appeals process in Section 10.

10. Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action against your account was applied in error, you may appeal by contacting us at hello@wagerfy.co within 7 days of the action being taken. Include your username, the match in question, and any supporting evidence. Appeals are reviewed by Wagerfy and the outcome is final.

11. Policy Updates

This Policy may be updated to reflect new games, rule changes, or community feedback. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
